Mrs. Margaret Bradshaw Armistead age 89 of Green Bay, VA passed away Thursday March 15, 2012 in Farmville.  She is survived by; her two sons, Lewis E. Armistead, Jr. and his wife Aletha of Concord, VA, Charles Armistead and his wife Ruby of Green Bay, VA, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren , five great great grandchildren, and her four sisters Jean Farley of Staunton, VA, Flora Grant of Farmville, VA, Phyllis Satterwhite of Mechanicsville, VA and Audrey Larin of Milpitas, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents William E. and Lorena Chaney Bradshaw, husband Lewis E. Armistead, Sr. , three sisters Eloise Mintz, Garnett Williamson, Georgie May Thompson, three brothers Clarence Bradshaw, William E. Bradshaw, Jr. and Thomas Bradshaw. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Shorter Funeral Home 1905 S. Main Street Farmville, VA. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 18, 2012 at Sharon Baptist Church in Green Bay, VA. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens  Rice, VA.
