Nellie Moore Nelson age 81, of Richmond, VA (formerly of Green Bay, VA) passed away Friday April 13, 2012 in Richmond. She was born in North Carolina, December 13, 1930 to the late Jack and Bessie Moore. She was a retired waitress. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Clawson.  Surviving are her husband Eddie Nelson, Sr. and daughters: Nancy Washburn and Nell Hunnel of Richmond, Brother, Billy Moore of North Carolina, Step-Children; Rita N. Shumaker of Buckingham, Trisha N. Hawkins of Sutherland, Helen N. Rogers of Green Bay and Eddie Nelson, Jr. of Dinwiddie.  She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday April 17, 2012 at Trininty Memorial Gardens in Rice, Virginia. The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
