We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Ownby. We got to know him and became close colleagues during our career in law enforcement as well. He was such a professional but so pleasant in preforming his duties. Jesse and I both worked for the VA Dept. of Corrections assigned to Buckingham and Dillwyn Correctional Centers. Both Buckingham and Cumberland has lost a very special person. We need not say that he was special to you because that goes without saying. Please know that we are sorry that we did not find out about his passing until after the service. We pray that God will give you the strength to endure this part of his plan.
