Alan Jeffrey Furno

Alan Jeffrey Furno born July 4, 1955 in Poughkeepsie, NY, son of Joseph Furno and Ethel Becky Furno. Alan was active in the Episcopal Church, Cary, NC. He played the part of Christ in the church play, he also played as Bubba the Clown. Alan attended NC State University, Alan also taught tap dancing at the Arthur Munny Dance Studio. Alan also performed at various theaters, including Clarksville VA Theater. Alan worked at Walmart for 18 years and sang in the choir at the local Episcopal Church in Farmville,VA.

He is survived by his husband Clarence S. Goebel "Chuck", mother Becky Furno, sister Karen Furno as well as his Uncle Roy Shaw.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 starting at 10:00AM at Shorter Funeral Home. A funeral service will start at 11:00AM and an interment will follow at the home. Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
