Betty Eagle

Mrs. Betty C. Eagle age 76 of Rice, Virginia passed away Tuesday August 16, 2011 in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was born April 4, 1935 in Prince Edward County, Virginia.  She is survived by; her two daughters, Linda C. Owen and her husband Curtis of Rice, VA, Shirley C. Marston and her husband Alfred of Chester, VA,  three grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Owen of Rice, VA, Brian Adam Marston and Travis Alan Marston both of Chester, VA ; one great granddaughter, Malia Faith Charles of Rice, VA; her sister Inez Tuscan of Lynchburg, VA; numerous nieces and nephews, one very special niece Rosetta Tuscan of Farmville, VA who was like a daughter to her and was always there for her. She was preceded in death by; her parents Maggie Ola Coleman Sims and Charles Cleveland Coleman; her brothers, Charles Edward Coleman, Thomas Henry Coleman, Ernest Lee Coleman Sr; and a sister Maggie V. Hines. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday August 20, 2011 in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home Farmville, VA with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens Rice, VA. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.  The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
