Betty Cook Latham, 77, of Cumberland passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at her home.
Born in Tennessee, October 21, 1935 Mrs. Latham was the daughter of the late Estel and Inez Chandler Cook. She was a former employee of Cumberland Restaurant.
She is survived by her husband, James Larry Latham of Cumberland, sons; Stanley W. Hiel (Nyoka) of Louisa, Douglas S. Hiel of (Kelly) of Fluvanna and Mark E. Hiel (Kelly) of California, five grandchildren; Jacob A. Hiel, Caroline M. Hiel, Katherine J. Hiel, Colin Hiel and Christian Hiel and one brother, Roy Cook of Glen Allen.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:30, Wednesday, Nov. 21 in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with the Funeral Service following at 7:30 PM. Interment will be held Friday in Center Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Virginia Foundation, 1700 Bayberry Ct., Suite 300, Richmond, Virginia 23226
