Clarence Jones (C.W.)

Clarence William Jones (C.W.), 80 of Hampton, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at his home.  Mr. Jones was retired from Flour Daniels Construction Corporation and was a 20 year retired (MSGT) Master Sergeant from the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his brother, Curtis D. Jones and his parents, William A. and Thelma Oaks Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lucy, one son, Russell W. Jones and his partner, Angie, one daughter, Sherrie J. Knowles and husband, Stan, two brothers, John D. Jones and spouse Sandra and Jerry W. Jones and spouse, Margaret, four grandchildren, Melissa D. Beck and husband Sonny, Jennifer L. Knowles, Joshua Jones and partner Kristal and Meghan J. Southall and husband Brian and his eleven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, VA with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice, VA.  Family will receive friends on Friday, February 5, 2016 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
