Cozie Sadler

Cozie Mae Sadler 83 of Green Bay, VA passed away on March 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 20, 1934 to the late James B. and Euna White Metcalf. She enjoyed her job working at STEPS in Farmville and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse Iva G. Sadler and 2 daughters Rita Shumaker (Ronnie), Patricia Hawkins.

She is survived by her son Eddie Nelson (Betty), daughter Helen Earnshaw (Andy), 2 sisters; Blondell Bowman (Riley), Nina King (James), 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and her dog Precious.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:00AM at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Shorter Funeral Home.
