Curtis Jones

Curtis Dean Jones,  79 of Farmville, VA passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his home.  He was preceded in death by his wife Betty and his parents, William and Thelma Oaks Jones. He is survived by one son, Michael D. Jones, three daughters, Debra A. Bates, Cathy M. Jamerson (David Ray) and Sandra K. Jones, three brothers, Clarence W. Jones (Lucy), John D. Jones (Sandra), Jerry W. Jones (Margaret), nine grandchildren, Jennifer J. Shorter (Charles), Tiffany Spillman (Charlie), Lisa Haley (Dennis), Brandy M. Tucker (Jay), Benjamin D. Jones, Christopher S. Jones, Johnathan Jamerson (Kimie), Brandon L. Jones, Brendan Jones and seventeen great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the funeral home.
