David Wood

Mr. David Edward Wood known to the Farmville area as Darrell Edward Wood age 52 died Tuesday July 6, 2010 in the Virgin Islands. He is survived by his wife Venassa Wood; his son Christopher Lee Wood; two daughters Nina Jackson and Holly Spoon; He was the son of the late Clarence Edward Wood, and is also survived by his mother Mildred Patterson Wood formerly of Farmville; three sisters Peggy Rodgers, Gloria Scarabelli, Gayle Wood; two brothers Nelson Hamlett and Joseph Wood. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday July 14, 2010 in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service at the Farmville Moose Lodge. A meal will be served. The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
