Edna Allen

Edna Ann Yeatts Allen, 58, of Dillwyn, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 in Charlottesville. She was the wife of Charles Allen.

Born in Prince Edward County, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late William and Edna Mae Yeatts. She was a homemaker and a member of Concord Baptist Church, Farmville Moose Lodge for over 35 years and Farmville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Charles of Dillwyn, daughter, Kimberly Cliborne of Green Bay, step-children, Charity Manis, Rene' Carwile and Charles Allen, Jr. all of Dillwyn granddaughter, Kayla Cliborne of Prospect and step-grandchildren: Javannah Taylor, Allen Taylor, Cyndi Carwile, Devin Allen and Jackson Allen.

The Family will receive friends this evening, (Saturday) from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Concord Baptist Church, Sheppard's, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery
