Mrs. Elizabeth Goin Franklin

Mrs. Elizabeth Goin Franklin, 89, of Prospect, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Farmville. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Franklin.

Mrs. Franklin was born in Pamplin, February 19, 1920 to the late Sam H. and Lucy Goin. She was retired from Craddock & Terry Shoe Corporation.

She is survived by two sisters: Thelma Carwile of Lynchburg and Lois Calhoun of Farmville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Prospect United Methodist Church with interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am Tuesday, at the church.
