Emmett T. Clark Jr. age 81 passed away on September 27, 2016.
He was born to the late Emmett T. and Helen Clark on September 27, 1935.
He lived in Farmville for 36 years and retired as a tug boat captain.
He was married to Bonnie J. Clark for 61 years.
He is survived by his daughters Deborah J. Dowell (Christopher) of Farmville, Ginger L. Clark of Farmville, Sharon L. Parsons (Bruce) of Keysville, a son Emmett Troy Clark III of Chesapeake, a brother Herman K. Clark, a sister Peggy Hardin, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister Patsy Clark and a brother Jimmy Clark.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 6:00PM in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home. Interment will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00AM in the Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, VA.
