Frances P. Gibbs, 76 of Crewe passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in Farmville.
She was born June 5, 1936 in Prince Edward to the late Hoyd Edward and Gladys Lindsay Phillips.
She is survived by her children, Frances Ann Allen of Chesterfield, Randy Len Gibbs of Crewe, Sandy King of Hampden-Sydney and David Bruce Gibbs of Rice, VA. Also surviving are 10 grandhchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Wayne Gibbs, Jr. and her brother, Edward Allen Phillips.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 1:00pm at the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. Family will receive friends on December 21, 2012 12:00-1:00pm at the funeral home.
