Genevieve Ann Champion, 89 of Meherrin passed away, Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Burkeville. She was the widow of James W. Champion and is survived by her daughter Carol Wilson, son: Richard J. Champion and five grandchildren: Steven Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Anthony Etheridge, Brittany Jillson and Samantha jillson.
A memorial service will be held later in Northfield, New Jersey.
Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
