Gerlean Martin

Mrs. Gerlean S. Martin, 85 of Charlotte Court House passed away Monday, December 30, 2013.  She was born January 16, 1928 to the late Warren Lee and Fern Louise Hunter Sarver.

She is survived by her son, John W. Martin and his wife, Dianne of Charlotte Court House; two daughters, Diane Lewis and Doris Williams and her husband, Douglas all of Charlotte Court House; one brother, Wesley Sarver of Missouri, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford R. Martin, her brother, Douglas Sarver, two sisters, Margaret Crowe and Gertrude Heddricks “Sis” and one son-in-law, Roy V. Lewis Sr.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 2:00pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends on Thursday 12:00-1:30pm at the Shorter Funeral Home.  Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
