Hazel Reedy

Mrs. Hazel Gilton Reedy age 82, passed away Thursday October 7, 2010 at
her residence in Rice,VA near Farmville. She is survived by her, husband
Bryant Reedy; her daughter Pam Davis of Mechanicsville, VA; her son Gary
Reedy and wife Gwen of Aquia Harbor, VA; her grandsons Brad and Ben Davis
both of Mechanicsville, VA; her sisters, Ruth Waller and husband Jerry,
Beth Newhouse and husband Lester all of Springfield, VA and Colleen
Richardson of Abington, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Margaret Weaver; her sisters
Mary Hodges and Carol Porterfield. She had a passion for gardening. She
was a member of the Dillwyn Garden Club and the Red Hat Society. Funeral
Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday October 11, 2010 at Pisgah
Baptist Church in Rice, VA. Interment to follow in Trinity Memorial
Gardens Rice, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
service at the church. Memorial Contributions may be to Prince Edward
Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 87 Farmville, VA 23901. The Shorter
