James Wilkerson

James "Bobby" Anderson Wilkerson,age 92,of Farmville passed away January 1st.2015.He was a parts manager for Newmans,Mullins,and Haley car dealerships.He was a  member of the Commonwealth Coral,a deacon and elder of the Farmville Presbyterian Church and Supertendant of sunday school there.He was preceded in death by his wife ;Ivey "Tootsie" Vaughan,his parents James  Walker and Eliza P.Wilkerson,sisters; Betty W, King,Eliza "Dolly"W.King,Margaret W.Miller,three brothers;John P.Wilkerson,Price Wilkerson and Garland Wilkerson.Also he is survived by one sister,Lucille W.Lightner of Salina Ka.,special friends Mariellen and Jon Combs  and many nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be Sunday Jan.4th. 2;00p.m. at the Farmville Presbyterian Church .Interment will be in Westview cemetery in Farmville,Va.Visitation at Shorters Funeral Home January 3rd. 2014  from 6-8 p.m..Memorial contributions can be made to The Holiday Music fund at the Farmville Presbyterian Church,Farmville,Va 23901 .         Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
