James Robert Phillips age 77 of Pamplin, Va. passed away on October 09, 2016. He was born on September 03, 1939 to the late Donald and Ionia Covington Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Teresa Carmichael Phillips, three sons: Robert Phillips of Appomattox, Edmond S.Phillips (Pam) and Joshua Phillips both of Pamplin. Two grandchildren: Preston and Colin and a sister-in-law Lois Pope. He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Lee Phillips.
