James Townsend

James C. Townsend, Sr. went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2019. He was born February 24, 1930. He was the son of the late Sherman Townsend and Cora Townsend Norwood. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Elizabeth Foster Townsend, a son J.C. Townsend, Jr. (Brenda), grandson Scott Townsend (Jennifer) and two great grandchildren Sarah and Sam Townsend.
A graveside funeral service will be on Wednesday August 28 th at 2:00 PM at Concord Baptist Church. Family will receive friends in Concord Baptist Church from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the graveside service.
