Jessie Wilkerson Allen was born May 17, 1922 in Farmville, VA and went to her eternal heavenly home on March 20, 2017.
She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She loved her 6 children, 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Hugh Earl Allen, children Robert (Donna), Doug (Gail), Judy (John), Steve, Ellen, Greg (Beth), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Farmville Church of Christ.
Memorial contributions may be made to FACES or the Free Clinic of Farmville.
Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
