John Dowdy

John Thomas Dowdy Jr. 70 of Pamplin, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father John Thomas Dowdy Sr. and a sister Susan D. Scruggs.

He is survived by his mother Nellie Wilkerson, his wife Janice Glenn Dowdy, daughter Joy Marie Dowdy Williams and a nephew David Scruggs.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 3:00PM in Walkers Presbyterian Church in Pamplin, VA with interment to follow in church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service starting at 2:00PM in the church.
