Mr. John Carrol Eagles, 80 of Farmville passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1933 in Rice, VA. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army. He worked as a certified locksmith. He was preceded in death by his wife Cora M. Eagles.
He is survived by his niece, Judy J. Perry (Pat) of Ahoskie, NC; his special friend, Teen Eagle of Farmville and close friends, Andy and Jane Eagle of Keysville and Kim, Gary, Logan and Walker Newcomb also of Keysville, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 2:00pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice.
Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
