Joyce Biggers

Joyce Jean Biggers, age 76, passed away on Nov. 25, 2019. Jean was a seamstress at Amelia Dress Factory. She also worked part time as a beautician and housekeeper.

She is survived by her husband Robert Biggers, Sr., a daughter Pattie Walters (Bob), two sons Robert Biggers Jr. (Kathy), Randall Biggers (Lisa), eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister Iris Clark, two stepsisters Mary Black (Troy), Betty Jo Toombs and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her father Roy Wesley Hutchins, mother Mammie Leonard and brother Wayne Hutchins.

Jean loved sewing and quilting and taking care of her fishpond and flowers. She enjoyed trips to the beach with her family.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 on Friday Nov. 29, 2019 at Concord Baptist Church 12053 Francisco Rd. Farmville, Va. 23901 with the funeral following at 12:00.Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
