Kaethe Slebodnik

Mrs. Kaethe Erna Charlotte Heinemann Slebodnik, passed away January 9, 2011 in Farmville, Virginia. She was the widow of John A. Slebodnik and also preceded in death by her former husband Wilhelm Heinemann.She was born January 29, 1912 in Stettin Germany. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marlene and Hans Martens of Cumberland, VA; her two grandsons, Peter and Edward Martens, their wives Jenny and Lisa Martens; and her four great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Jordan, Stephanie and Jonathan Martens. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday January 14, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Farmville, VA with internment to follow in Old Grove Cemetery Cumberland, VA. The family suggest that Memorial Contributions be made to: St John's Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1301 Milnwood Rd, Farmville, VA 23901.
