Mary Allen

Mary Lula Jordan Allen age 94 of Prospect,Va. died on April 11,2016 in Farmville,Va.She was born on March 7,1922 to Wheeler and Lucy Jordan.She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Malcom.She is survived by a daughter Vera Ellen Allen of Farmville,one son Larry J. Allen and his wife Connie of Prospect,Va.,one grandson Charles A. Allen and his wife Ellen,two great-grandchildren Charlie and Avery,also a sister Alice J.Campbell and sister-in-laws Dorothy Jordan and Lorene Roberts. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 13,2016 at 1 pm in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home.Interment will be in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery.The family will recieve friends from 12:30 to 1:00 prior to the service. Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
