Mrs. Mary Layne Archer age 68 of Rice, VA passed away Friday December 11, 2009 in Farmville, VA. She is survived by her; husband Clifton "Red" Archer Sr. ; son Clifton Archer , Jr. of Victoria, VA; Sisters Phyllis L. Jones and her husband Larry of Virginia Beach, VA, Elsie L. Martin of Richmond, VA; Numerous other Family Members and Friends. Funeral Services were conducted 1:00 PM Monday December 14, 2009 at Liberty Christian Church in Green Bay, VA. with interment in the Church Cemetery. The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
