Mary Ownby

Mary Barbour Ownby, 68, of Cumberland, Virginia, went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 10, 2018.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Jake Barbour, mother, Onnie Barbour, sisters Brenda Gail Allen, Margaret Whaley, and nephew, Scott Hill, all of Four Oaks, North Carolina.
Mary is survived by her husband of 40 years Clyde Carlton Ownby, daughter, Jessica Ownby, and granddaughter, Presley Ownby.  Two sisters, Marie Tipton, Janice Cockrell, and a brother, Jerry Barbour. Nieces Yvette Burks (Rick) and great niece Caitlin, Tonia Senn (Chip), Kristina Benson (Kevin), great niece Brilyn Parker, and nephew, Manley Barbour, all of North Carolina. Two nieces, Wanda and Dina Mozingo of Tennessee.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Chapel Baptist Church in Cumberland, Virginia.
