Ola Dunnavant

Mrs. Ola Mae Cook Dunnavant age 95 of Burkeville, VA departed this life into eternal rest on Tuesday September 27, 2011 in Farmville, VA.  She was a lifelong member of Bagby Memorial Baptist Church in Burkeville, VA. She is survived by; her daughter Janice D. Burkhart and her husband Wayne of Burkeville, VA, her sister-in-law Golda W. Whittley of Victoria, VA, her nieces; Joyce T. Dunkum of Burkeville, VA, Mavis T. Baldwin of Farmville, Va,  Phyllis C. Michael of Lynchburg, VA, her nephew Wilson F. Cook of Burkeville, VA . She was preceded in death by; her husband Morgan Andrew Dunnavant,  her two brothers William T Cook and Samuel A. Cooke. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday September 30, 2011 in the chapel of the Shorter Funeral Home Farmville, VA with interment to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Burkeville, VA. The Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to; Bagby Memorial Baptist Church Burkeville, VA, Burkeville First Responders or Nottoway Volunteer Rescue Squad.  The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
