He was formerly of Blacksburg, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his brother James Spitzer. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday April 27, 2012 at Center Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cumberland, Virginia. The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is in charge of the arrangements
