Pauline Lane

Mrs. Pauline Lane (Polly) of Richmond, VA, formerly of Farmville, VA, passed away on January 23, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Chester; her son Dennis; her brother Johnny and her sisters Margie and Exie. She is survived by her son Robert and wife Shirley; two grandchildren and their spouses, Dana and Bill Plowden, Robert and Jana Lane; seven great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Leah, and Zoey Plowden, Brandon, Bobby, Brookelynn and Hayden Lane;  three nieces, Judy, Linda, and Debbie; and her beloved poodle, Mitzi. She was a member of Worsham Baptist Church and a retired employee of Safeway.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 12:30-1:30pm at the Shorter Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 2:00pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice VA. The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville, VA is serving the family.   In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Worsham Baptist Church.
