Philip Benjamin Womble, Jr., 48, of Prospect passed away, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in Farmville.
Philip was born in Granite City, Illinois to Philip Janzen and the late Josephine Beisler. He was formerly a Manager with Circuit City. Philip loved History, Music and Electronics, especially Computers and had formerly studied martial arts.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Andrea Womble of Prospect, six children; Jennifer Womble, Philip Womble and Kelly Womble, all of East Haven, CT, Michael McCabe (Kristina) of Clarksville, TN, Steven Hancock of Billerica, MA and Steffanie Hancock of Prospect, three brothers, Russell Womble (Lisa) of East Haven, CT, David Womble (Lynn) of Meridan, CT and Frank Beisler of Meridan, CT and one grandson, Jonathan Womble and one granddaughter, Rose Weaver. six nieces; Rebecca Womble, Shelby Womble, Sabrina Womble, Elizabeth Womble, Shannon Lee Beisler and Kiera Beisler, three nephews; David Womble, Jr. , Mark Womble and Frankie Beisler, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 23, 2012 in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Farmville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon till time of service Monday at the funeral home.
