Phillip Brown

Phillip Henry Brown, of Rice, VA passed away on December 1, 2018 at home.

He was born on December 1, 1933 to Everette Conway and Lula Elvira Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Thelma Sue Ritchie, Iva Louise Raines, Nancy Dale Boyd,Lucie Prikasky and a brother Everette Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Elva Jane Brown, sisters Clara Mae Helding of Seymour, TN; Betty B. Pearson of Rice, VA Gladys Sharkey of Greenville, VA and a brother James Conway Brown of Rice, VA. A daughter Mary Ann Layne of Rice, VA, grandchildren; Maranda Lipscomb and a great granddaughter Jessica of Goldboro, NC. Donald Lee Blankenship Jr. of Madison Heights, VA Savannah Sprouse and great granddaughter Kourtney of Appomattox, VA, Phillip Blankenship and great grandson Conner of Fayetteville, NC.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pisgah Baptist Church or Centra Hospice.
