Raymond Sinclair Scruggs, 97 of Rice passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife Melva Lee Scruggs. Raymond was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church. He was a farmer and loved the land. He is survived by his family and friends and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2 PM at Shorter Funeral Home with interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Burkeville, Virginia.
Family will receive friends from 6 – 7:30 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Shorter Funeral Home.
