Revia Lewis

Revia Tipton Lewis, 73 passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in Farmville.  She was born April 8, 1939 in North Carolina to the late Louis and Orla Whitt Tipton.  She was the widow of Grady Lewis.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Lewis (Bobbi) and Terry Lewis (Brenda) all of Chesterfield, 6 grandchildren, Gypsy Lewis Jones of Lamoore, California, Stormy Jean Lewis of Columbus, Ohio, Zachary Grady Lewis of Eauclaire, Wisconsin, Lexie Scout Lewis of Chesterfield, Dustin Thomas Lewis and Kimberly Ashley Lewis both of Chesterfield; her 6 great grandchildren, Orion Lewis Jones, Zane Lewis Jones, Cain Lewis, Jaiden Bessler, Jordan Duffy and Leela Lewis.    Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Lattie Tipton, Maggie Tipton and Hubert Tipton (Jessie) all of Curdsville, Danny Tipton of Lynchburg,  Inez Jones (Tom) of Crewe, Mary Ruth Bailey of
Mars Hill, NC, Olin Tipton of Forest, VA and Frances Huddleston (Joe) of Farmville.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Max and Fred Tipton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 2:00pm in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow at Willow Grove Church.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.
