Robert Terry Fore

Robert Terry Fore, born November 27, 1952 to the late William Gray Fore Sr and Katherine Daniel Fore. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Michael Haywood Fore, Richard Daniel Fore and a sister Betty Lou Annarino.

He is survived by his wife Rita DeJarnette Fore, daughter Catherine Joyce Fore Summers, grandson Jax Meredith Summers, his brothers William Gray Fore Jr and Marion Thomas Fore. In loving memory of Robert Fore, a beautiful soul who brought warmth, laughter and light to everyone he encountered. Robert lived his life fully. He had a passion for fishing and went at every opportunity. He loved gardening and canning his produce, and sharing with his family and friends. Robert was also a great cook. Before his illness, Robert had planned to go back into photography. He had been a portrait and wedding photographer. He also worked at Green Front Furniture. Robert was always eager to lend a helping hand and was a beacon of light to all who knew him. Let us celebrate the richness Robert brought to our lives. May the love we shared continue to live in our memories. 

A memorial service will be held on May 30, 2026 at 2:00PM in Shorter Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior starting at 1:00PM. Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
