Shelby Hatfield, 86 of Farmville, VA. passed away on July 5, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Katherine Ayers Hatfield, 2 sons; Kenneth and David Hatfield and 4 brothers; Frank, Burton, Floyd and Lonnie Hatfield.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Marie Hatfield, sons; Jerry (Amanda) Hatfield, Lester Hatfield, daughter Susan Eppes (Billy), brother Virgil (Doris) Hatfield, sister, Ruth Morris (Ronald), 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 sisters- in-Law; Lois Hatfield and Norma Johnson.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at Shorter Funeral Home.
