Viva Crump

Mrs. Viva S. Crump age 83 of Farmville, VA passed away Sunday December 19, 2010 in Farmville. She was preceded in death by her husband James Garland Crump; her parents Doctor Branch Silby and Martha B. Silby, and her sister Sallie Gilliam. She is survived by her daughter Kathy C. Dunnavant and her husband Stuart of Farmville; her son James G. "Pete" Crump Jr. and Lisa Bates of Farmville; her sister Virginia Brown of Powhatan, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday December 23, 2010 at Concord Baptist Church in Buckingham, VA with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Concord Baptist Church Building Fund c/o Joann Showalter PO 37 Prospect, VA 23960. The Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
