Wanda Chernault Hamlett

Wanda Chernault Hamlett, age 87, of Hampden-Sydney passed away on Tuesday, November 29th. She was born on November 6th, 1936 in Appomattox County to the late Jessie James and Janie Chernault.  She was married to the late Lindy Lynn Hamlett.

Wanda is proceded in death by her devoted husband, 5 sisters, and 6 brothers. 

She is survived by her children: Curtis C. Hamlett, Lynn East (Wayne), and Margie Agee (Gary) all of Farmville, grandchildren: Sandy Burruss (George), twins Benjamin Agee (Shanna) and Kelly Redford (James), great grandchildren: Garrison and Emma Agee, Joshua and Savannah Redford, Michael and Maggie Burruss and her one sister, Sally Mottley of Farmville.

      The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, November 30th at Shorter Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1st at College Presbyterian Church, Hampden-Sydney at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to College Presbyterian Church or Prince Edward Rescue Squad.
