William Lee “Bill” Kerns born May 29, 1960 in Norfolk, VA passed away on December 25, 2017. He lived in Prospect, VA and worked as a welder at C&L Welding in Farmville. He lived in Hawaii until 2010 and moved to Farmville until his passing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and four wheelers.
He was preceded in death by his father Sid F. Kerns.
He is survived by his mother Elfrieda L. Kerns, brother, Steven R. Kerns, a sister Karen Kerns Carwile, two nephews Harrison B. Stewart and A. Prescott Stewart, one niece Emma Noelani Carwile.
A memorial service will be held at Glenn Memorial Baptist Church in Prospect VA, Friday, December 29, 2017 at 3:00PM. A private burial will take place later.
